Today's shopping trip went great!  I got nearly everything I was after.  Unfortunately, the store I go to didn't have Purex included in the BOGO Free sale event.  I'm hearing that many other stores nearby do have it.  I will be going after that before the sale is over.  I stocked up on Betty Crocker mashed potatoes.  Probably enough to last 8-12 months!  I really cannot get that hang of making homemade mashed potatoes.  I've tried and tried and fail every time.  I know, it sounds so easy and since I cook a ton it shouldn't be an issue, but it is.  So I do buy boxed potatoes for when we really want them.  I also got ice cream for my daughter's 4th birthday party next week.  I do love buying party snacks cheap or for free!

I took advantage of quite a few BOGO Free sales today.  And even though I didn't have coupons for all of them, I'm still very happy with my results.  After all, I saved 50% on these items with very little effort!

I spent $54.85 for $125.23 worth of groceries for a savings of over 56%!
