Shopping Results--Rite Aid
There are tons of freebies & moneymakers this week at Rite Aid. I stopped by last night to take advantage of a few things I needed. The transactions went pretty much as planned, with a minor hiccup because of a mistake I made. But it all worked out great!
I paid $3.65 for $43.13 worth of products for a savings of over 92%!!!
Transaction #1
Samy Fat Foam(Hair Color) $8.99 (Reg. $9.99)
-(1) Rite Aid In Ad Coupon $6/1
-(1) $5/1 Manufacturer's Coupon
Final Price: $2.01 Moneymaker!!!!
**Since Rite Aid isn't going to give cash back, I had to buy a few items to cover the overage. Without $2.01 worth of extra items, the register would reject my $5/1 coupon. So I bought Hand Sanitizer for a classroom donation!

Final Price: Free after +UP Rewards!

Pretty awesome, huh? Who can say no to FREE + Moneymaker hair color??? Not me!
If you are wondering, my mistake was made when I grouped all 4 hand sanitizers with one hair color in transaction #1. I was supposed to buy 2 with each hair color, helping to cover the extra I needed to spend for the hair color coupon. But I had a major brain fart and it did cost my a bit more out of pocket then it should have.
My cousin Tina did the same deal yesterday afternoon and only paid $1.64 out of pocket for the same exact items! Tina covered a few extra pennies that were needed by purchasing an individual chocolate covered cherry for 33¢! These little cherries are a great go to if you need to cover a few cents. Most Rite Aids have them, however the one I went to last night no longer does.
Live Frugal. Live Happy.
