Challenge: 30 Days to an Organized Home
I'm very excited to start this challenge! Tomorrow at 10am, I will post the first assignment! I wanted to give you a little more information about the challenge itself. First, the assignments are going to be fairly easy and quick to accomplish. I will not be assigning work such as wash all you walls or reorganize your entire basement. Those are big jobs! These assignments may be something like...clean & organize your dresser drawers. This task could take 15 minutes for some and 1 hour for others. But the task itself is fairly simple.
Second, since my blog is dedicated to frugal living, I urge you not to spend money unnecessarily. We all wish we could just go out and buy $500 worth of closet shelves & baskets! But it's not necessary at all. Consider looking around our home for shoe boxes, extra containers and you can even use empty cereal boxes & other food packaging. Re-purposing items you already have will save you a lot of money. I did wonder into Dollar Tree yesterday looking for a few baskets for our first assignment. I spent a grand total of $3.18 for 6 baskets. 2 for $1 works for me! So if you must buy a few baskets, hit up the dollar store for some great & cheap finds!
Lastly, I will post a link up along with my daily results & pictures. For those of you who cannot link up, I would still love to hear from you! Please leave comments updating me on your progress and how the 30 Day Challenge is going for you. I started this blog to help people. Your feedback means the world to me! So, please leave me a comment!
Check back tomorrow at 10am for the first Challenge: 30 Days to an Organize Home assignment!
Live Frugal. Live Happy.
