Challenge: 30 Days to an Organized Home--Day 5

Challenge: 30 Days to an Organized Home--Day 5

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Assignment #5

Under the Bathroom Sink

This is one of my problem areas.  I clean it out & organize it, then 1 week later, it's a mess again!  We only have one bathroom in our home and it's very small.  It seems like small areas are hard to keep organized & tidy.  We like to keep certain things in the bathroom, but lack enough storage.  Today I'm going to attempt to fix this issue.

Start by removing all items that live under your bathroom sink.  Clean the area well and allow it to dry.  In the meantime, sort through your bathroom supplies and make 3 piles:  things to keep, things that belong elsewhere & things to donate or trash.

After you are finished sorting, take a moment to consider your space and think about how it'll work best for you & your family.  Maybe you want to add a few baskets or over the cabinet storage(these are cool because they hang on the inside of the cabinet and can hold many different things).  Put everything back into your cabinet.

Frugal Tip:  If your hair dryer and curling iron cords are out of control, save a few cardboard tubes from your toilet paper rolls.  Neatly gather up the cord and place the tube over it.  This will keep the cord neatly stored and it's free!  You can also paint the tubes if you would like.

Check back at 9pm for my update, pictures & linky!
